Jackie Ralph, the Coordinator of F.A.N. (Friends and Neighbours) Club Grey Bruce is coming to Meaford United on May 3rd. Whoot! that is less than a week away. Your child from 8 to 12 can participate in a program offered to children from junior kindergarten through to grade six. Jackie and helpers with child sized puppets will present a skit to the children on self-esteem to help promote mental health awareness to the children. A question and answer session follows each skit.

Oh and by the way, Jackie is also known as the singing puppeteer and she will honor us with a sung version of the 23rd Psalm.

- Rudolph Otto in his book The Idea of the Holy says that when someone has an experience of the Holy, they find themselves caught up in two opposite things at the same time: the mysterium tremendum and the mysterium fascinosum, or the scary mystery and the alluring mystery. We both draw back and are pulled forward into a kind of time warp or liminal space… if you don't have both, you don't have the true or full experience of the Holy. As a contemporary, narrative fiber and mixed media artist, I work in textiles, and paper using images, symbols and visual metaphor. I express my idea of the holy through art journaling, collage, one-of-a-kind books/journals, altered books, figurative forms and puppets, watercolour, in addition to other mixed media. I love trying new techniques. I love sharing and teaching new techniques even more.
